I grew up in Albemarle, North Carolina, and I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a BA in English and Creative Writing.
While in school I spent time as an Editorial Intern at Algonquin Books.
After graduation I worked seasonal contracts in the hospitality industry across the country before moving to Houston for graduate school.
Enrolled at the University of Houston and looking for a MFA in Fiction, I am supported by the Inprint Brown Foundation Fellowship. I also work as the Inprint UH CWP Fellow and an Assistant Fiction Editor for Gulf Coast.
Right now I am listening to “The Predatory Wasp of the Palisades Is Out to Get Us!” by Sufjan Stevens if you even care.
