I grew up in Albemarle, North Carolina.
While in college at UNC-Chapel Hill, I spent time as an Editorial Intern at Algonquin Books.
After graduation I worked seasonal contracts in the hospitality industry across the country before moving to Houston for graduate school.
Enrolled at the University of Houston and looking for a MFA in Fiction, I am supported by the Inprint Brown Foundation Fellowship. I also work as the Inprint UH CWP Fellow and an Assistant Fiction Editor for Gulf Coast.
I am listening to “Left For Tomorrow” by Perfume Genius.
