About Me

I grew up in Albemarle, North Carolina, and went on to graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill with a BA in English and Creative Writing.

While in school I spent time as an Editorial Intern at Algonquin Books.

After graduation I worked seasonal contracts in the hospitality industry across the country before moving to Houston for graduate school.

I am currently at the University of Houston looking for a MFA in Fiction, supported by the Inprint Brown Foundation Fellowship. I also work as the Inprint UH CWP Fellow, and am an Assistant Fiction Editor for Gulf Coast.

Right now I am listening to “Right Back to It,” the new Waxahatchee single, if you even care.
